Rhea engineering works previously known by the name Romraj engineering works was formed in the year 1998 at C10/1, gala no 13, NICE, satpur, Nashik.

Company was started by Mr. Indrasen B Shahani as an engineering work shop doing job work for M/s Crompton Greaves mainly and a few other small and medium engineering companies.

By the year 2002 it had started manufacturing Mv switchgear parts and components for Abb Nashik and L & T powai

In the year 2006 the company expanded with a plant at N18, MIDC, Ahmednagar specially for L & T Mv division which had then shifted from powai to Ahmednagar, this division spread across 9000sq feet shop floor area and about 5000sq feet other area is fully owned and managed by a dedicated team of professionals.

By the year 2019 the companies Nashik activities had also increased to expand and so on a long lease W4, MIDC facility was taken from M/s Mayur Vidyut, this facility spread across 10000 sq feet had a independent shade with residential quarters to include stay of person’s.

Upto 2020 the company had outsourced all fabrication items from other suppliers, but with the changed dynamics and also the addition of Indian railways as a customer meant addition of manufacturing activity for fabrication purpose.

So in the intervening year 2021*2022 , fabrication set up was added at our Nashik C10/1, Gala no 12/13, NICE , satpur, works, this meant adding Sheet steel laser cutting machine with the latest ancillary machinery required for fabricating items.
